Buy American and Buy America

Within the realm of steel framing, the terms “Buy America and Buy American” connect to two prominent laws, which each champion the use of American-made products in public projects. The goal of these Acts is to promote/sponsor domestic sourcing, ensuring that goods and services for projects are primarily sourced from within the U.S.

In keeping with the goals of these Acts, SCAFCO Steel Stud Company, an American owned business, sources 100% of its steel supply from US Steel Mill locations, and all manufacturing takes place in the US. Both plant locations have steel on the ground and at the ready to meet all project requirements.
