SCAFCO Corporation strives to provide the highest quality products possible. In order to ensure customers our products are code compliant and manufactured to the highest standard, SCAFCO is one of 21 members of the Steel Stud Manufacturer’s Association. SSMA Members must be tested twice per year by a third party source, Architectural Testing Inc (ATI).

ATI is an internationally accredited third party testing facility. Continuous testing is administered to all SSMA members through their certification program. Third party certification by ATI ensures cold-formed steel products adhere to 2006 IBC Codes and current ASTM C645 and C955. Testing is done randomly twice per year. Products are chemically stripped and tested for coating and bare metal thickness; and the dimensional properties of the stud are measured. Third party certification guarantees the Engineer, Architect, and Contractor that cold-formed steel materials are high quality, code compliant, and safe for building.
