SCAFCO in its continued pursuit to provide customers with the best product possible has undergone the testing for 3rd party certification. To achieve 3rd Party status a company must submit to being randomly tested by ATI (Architectural Testing, Inc.) without warning as to when. During testing the company must meet or exceed all requirements.
The ATI itself is an independent inspection agency credited with adhering to the requirements of ISO 17020, and is also considered an independent testing laboratory in accordance with ISO 17025. The inspections include testing of product thickness, coating, quality, and dimensional properties.
Being 3rd Party Certified is great for the steel framing industry, driving the way for a level playing field. This Certification also plays a big role in providing a quality code compliant product to the contractor and in the end, the owner assuring a safer building. |
