STEEL STUD MANUFACTURING DIVISION

  • IT INTERN- seeking a current student who is enrolled in the Information Technology program. Individual will provide support to staff on all company information technology supported applications. Troubleshoot computer problems and determine source, and advise on appropriate action.

  • PRICING/CLERK - seeking a motivated person for the inside sales department of the SCAFCO Steel Stud Manufacturing Company. Duties include processing customer orders and preparing quotations. Ideal candidate shall have a strong attention to detail. Must also have typing and data entry skills and be proficient in Word and Excel.

  • CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT - seeking a superintendent to provide commercial construction assistance, including building construction and full site development. The successful candidate will have 10 years experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent with at least five years on very large commercial projects. Prefer experience with pre-engineered metal buildings.

GRAIN SYSTEMS DIVISION
  • PLANT MANAGER - seeking a Plant Manager to handle the overall management of the Grain Systems production facility, including manufacturing, industrial engineering and maintenance. The Plant Manager will be responsible for plant production goals and will coordinate with purchasing, scheduling, shipping, engineering and sales departments. Position requires five (5) years experience in production management and demonstrated experience in total Quality, six Sigma or Lean manufacturing methodology. A Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related field is strongly preferred but not required.

  • INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER - seeking Industrial/Manufacturing Engineer who will apply industrial engineering concepts, techniques, analysis, and decision tools to promote and implement operational improvements in the grain storage system manufacturing process. This position will provide professional support to Operations to ensure the efficient utilization of resources (e.g. facilities, personnel, materials, equipment) and identification of areas of duplication and waste (time, materials, energy and other resources) throughout the organization. Minimum qualifications include 3-5 years of recent related experience in a manufacturing environment and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial, or a related field. Must be proficient in MS Software and CAD.

  • PRODUCTION LABORERS - individuals to assist machine operators. Load and stack products. Chance for advancement.

  • SUMMER LABORERS - individuals to assist machine operators by loading and stacking products. Full time seasonal position. Must be at least 18 years old.


  • SALES ESTIMATOR - seeking a motivated person for the sales department in the position of estimator. Duties would include preparing estimates of storage systems, working closely with the engineering and fabrication departments. Attention to detail, self-starter, visual, well organized, motivated, Auto-CAD or similar and reading of blue prints a plus.

  • ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT CLERK - seeking detail oriented individual who can follow instructions, take excellent notes and is proficient in Microsoft Office. MAS experience preferred but not required. Duties will include: purchase order processing, applying payments to current orders, account balancing, Bills of Lading, freight shopping, vendor and customer communication.

Duties include but not limited to: hand stocking of construction materials related to the steel stud and drywall industry at construction sites, preparing and staging orders for customer deliveries, loading and unloading trucks in the yard and out at construction sites, and other duties. Must be comfortable working inside buildings taller than 3 stories. Metal stud and drywall stocking experience preferred. Forklift ability and bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.

The ideal Sales Representative should have skills involving outstanding sales, technical customer service, prospecting and marketing. Knowledge of the construction industry is preferred.

  • NORTHERN CALIFORNIA BRANCH OPERATIONS MANAGER - seeking individual to manage operations of all branches in Northern California. Responsible for overall strategic direction, financial success, customer satisfaction, safety and staffing needs. The position will oversee the sales and service activities for all assigned branches. The ideal manager should have skills involving strong leadership, experience managing multiple locations, knowledge of the construction industry, and Microsoft Office. Ultimately accountable to our customers for the products and results delivered.
